Also known as Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lawrence garden was named after the Viceroy of India, John Lawrence, since the enclosure held his statue. Though the effigy was later moved, the historic value of the garden remains intact even today.
Lawrence Garden is one of the most famous places in the city because of the beautiful construction of the park, a botanical garden and a library that is situated within the Victorian building. The place also includes an open-air theatre and a tennis court.
Built in 1642 during the rule of Emperor Shah Jahan, Shalimar Gardens is an exquisite Mughal Heritage structure that is visited by people of all strata’s of society. There was a point in time though, when the park wasn’t open for the public. Also declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Shalimar Gardens is a famous tourist location as well as the favourite place for couples to meet up at.

Jallo botanical park
The park that was in 1978, is not just a lovely place full of trees and flowers, it is also a wildlife park that is home to numerous species of birds and mammals. The park also has a Forest Research Centre, Wildlife Breeding Center, restaurants, coffee shops, a theme park, a sports complex, swimming pool, and a large lake for fishing and boating.
